The band is extremely famous among celebrities, who have frequently been spotted at their gigs. Lizzo was able to take a video selfie with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa during the group's performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, where even Taylor Swift was seen dancing. On November 26, Selena Gomez joined the fan club by posting cute photos of herself with BLACKPINK to Instagram with the caption "Selpink chillin."
In the photographs, Gomez is seen sporting light wash trousers with wide legs, a black T-shirt, and a long black leather jacket.
She has her hair in a bun and is wearing lipstick in a dark crimson hue. The BLACKPINK members are extremely color-coordinated, donning their own merchandise in tones of grey and white. Gomez collaborated with BLACKPINK on their album The Album single "Ice Cream."
In the music video, Gomez does not appear to ever be in the same room as the other women, so this reunion is especially touching.

She does, however, get to operate an ice cream truck while wearing a sailor hat. Gomez stated in an interview with CR Fashion Book regarding her partnership with BLACKPINK, "I just love them and their energy. We had a lot of fun together but sadly because of the virus we weren't able to do anything in person. I had met Jisoo and Rosé at a fashion show a couple of years ago but I can't wait to meet the other girls in person one day." This day finally arrived, and it was precisely what everyone had hoped for.
It can be remembered that this collab set Britney Spears off recently, although she neither confirmed nor deny it. In her acceptance speech at the 2016 American Music Awards, Selena famously stated that she does not want to see female bodies on Instagram but who they are inside.
This just riled Britney up, as assumed by the fans. Britney wrote in a now-deleted remark that she believes it is hypocritical for others to blame women for displaying their bodies, pointing out how those who said this actually do it themselves. She said people who lick homemade ice cream while wearing almost nothing shouldn't talk, prompting many to say she was targeting Gomez and her collab with Blackpink.
Spears asked why females cannot flaunt what they have, especially since they only get attention from it while stars actually earn from doing the same.
