Ozzy Osbourne Bio
Ozzy Osbourne was born John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham, England, on December 3, 1948. Osbourne comes from a working class family. Surpirsingly, he dropped out of school at 15 years old, and, hence, took on multiple low paying jobs. The future musician committed a minor crime at a young age, and when he was 17 years old, he went to jail for two months for committing burglary.
After having been released from jail, Ozzy became part of a couple of local rock groups. Not soon long after, the former Black Sabbath singer established the rock band, Earth, with guitarist, Tony Iommi. This group eventually changed their name into Black Sabbath, to prevent confusing audiences and followers. The group was newly named after an old Boris Karloff film, hence, calling themselves Black Sabbath.
Wife, Sharon, Gives a Touching Tribute to Her Husband
TV star and Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, has reportedly built a shrine for her husband at the home they share. The photos of this shrine have not indicated, though, whether it has been built in the couple's $18 million Los Angeles home they are allegedly in the process of selling, or the grand mansion they share in the United Kingdom.
The display collection in shrine like form is inclusive of Ozzy's multiple framed records, and several photos of the singer. Just above the tribute items, a sizable stained glass window of Jesus stands abound. Sharon can be seen sitting on the stairs close to the shrine display, donning on black trousers and a white shirt, with her dog, Elvis, sitting beside her.
