The 34-year-old Grammy-winning singer placed 73rd on the list when it was published on December 7-just below Laura Cha, the first female chair of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange-and ahead of Mette Frederiksen, the prime minister of Denmark.
In addition, Barbados-born Rihanna is more influential than fellow pop artists Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Taylor Swift, who are known for their songs "Crazy in Love" and "Midnights," respectively.
Beyoncé comes in at number 80, just ahead of Taylor, who is ranked at position 79.
