The court hearing to discuss the involvement of Takeoff's accused killer in his death has started.

On Wednesday, the court dropped shocking revelations about Takeoff's accused killer, including the instances he reportedly tried to avoid the arrest.

According to the prosecutors, 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark searched about using fake plane tickets to get an expedited passport. He reportedly sought details about those things as he planned to leave the country.

Clark also made online searches to know whether he was being accused as a suspect in Takeoff's death.

But after the recent hearing, his defense attorneys insisted that their client did not plan on leaving Houston. Instead, he and the team have reportedly been preparing to pursue self-defense in the case since he is innocent.

"We feel comfortable that when the time is right that Mr. Clark will have a valid and meritorious claim for self-defense," Letitia Quinones, one of Clark's attorneys, said.

The attorney disclosed that Clark only fired after someone tried to shoot him. However, police discovered that the accused killer fired the first shot.

More Details Revealed During Hearing

During Wednesday's hearing, the court also discussed the documents filed by Clark in Texas. He asked the court to reduce his $2 million bail and make it $100,000.

He pledged to stay with his parents once his request gets approved. He also agreed to wear a GPS monitor and follow the curfew hours that might be imposed on him.

The alleged gunman added that he would surrender his passport and follow the no-contact order.

However, state District Judge Josh Hill was hesitant to grant his request and reduce his bond as he could be a flight risk. The fact that he also searched for fake tickets reportedly caused a great deal of concern.

He eventually agreed to reduce his bond if additional security requirements could be met. He clarified that he could lower it to $300,000.

Meanwhile, Houston police Sgt. Michael Burrow talked about Clark's cellphone and that the review they conducted showed them his online searches. With that, he concluded that he was preparing to flee the country after Takeoff's death.

A surveillance video was also presented in which Clark can be seen holding a wine bottle in one hand as he used his gun in the other. The authorities found the same bottle near the scene and found his fingerprints in it.
