Megan Thee Stallion's boyfriend, Pardi Fontaine, has finally spoken up after weeks of staying hushed on the high-profile trial of his girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion, against Canadian rapper Tory Lanez.

Fontaine, who has been dating Megan Thee Stallion since 2020, three months after the alleged incident, took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the resolution of the felony assault trial. (via Complex)

"To any woman, especially ones of color, that has suffered an injustice, I feel for you. When you do find the courage to speak up it seems you will be ridiculed. Your credibility will be questioned, your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass," he said in a statement.

Megan Thee Stallion stood firm and consistent in her recollection of the incident. After leaving Kylie Jenner's party in June 2020, she, along with ex-best friend Kelsey Harris and Lanez, went home in the latter's car when an alcohol-fueled argument turned heated and violent.

The "Sweetest Pie" rapper claims that when she felt that the argument was escalating even further, she alighted the vehicle and heard Lanez shout, "Dance, Bitch," and the next thing she knew, she was shot in the foot multiple times.

"In an instant, you can go from victim to defendant in the eyes of the public. To anyone with a sister, mother, niece, or aunt, I pray for their protection. I pray for their covering. I wouldn't wish this on anyone," Fontaine concluded.

Since the issue came about years ago, Megan Thee Stallion's life has been put under the microscope because of reports that say she was intimately linked to Tory Lanez at the time, and the reason for the argument was a third party involvement of her best friend at the time, Harris.

Megan Thee Stallion, formally known as Megan Pete, testified on the trial, recalling her traumatic experience during and after the alleged incident.

"I feel disgusted, I feel dirty, my own partner is embarrassed," she revealed, referring to the heightened media coverage of her sexual history. "I can't even be happy ... I don't want to talk to friends or family. I don't want to live. I wish he had just shot and killed me if I had to go through this torture."

Meanwhile, reports that a ruling was already reached and that the jury found Tory Lanez not guilty have surfaced. However, it was said that the jury is still in the process of deliberation.
