On December 29, rock star Ozzy Osbourne was seen leaving a physical therapy session in Los Angeles.

The 74-year-old Black Sabbath singer appeared somewhat frail as he walked to his car with the aid of a cane. The singer, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019, had "life-changing" surgery in June.

As he stepped outside, the Prince of Darkness hitmaker donned a long, navy pea coat. The Grammy-winning artist was casually attired in a black top and matching track pants. As he walked, he wore black sneakers and kept his shoulder-length hair slicked back.

In the summer, his wife Sharon Osbourne, 70, stated on UK's The Talk on TalkTV that the major operation would "determine the remainder of his life."

Previously, the songwriter suffered a severe fall that dislodged metal rods implanted in his spine in 2003 following a quad-bike accident. In May, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee discussed the operation with Classic Rock.

He said that he's waiting for additional neck surgery and still cannot walk properly. He added that every morning, he had to undergo physical therapy and while he's getting better, he has not fully bounced back enough to return to the road. Ozzy disclosed in January 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkin 2, a form of Parkinson's disease, in 2019.

During an interview with Good Morning America, accompanied by his wife, he stated that he could no longer conceal the pain and had to begin taking a 'vast array' of medications to treat the symptoms.

He revealed that he had concealed his condition for a year before deciding to disclose it. He disclosed that everything began when he fell in his Los Angeles home in January 2019, shortly after being hospitalized for pneumonia.

The fall dislodged metal rods implanted in his spine following an accident in 2003 that broke eight ribs, his collarbone, and a vertebra in his neck. In addition, his heart stopped twice en route to the hospital. Ozzy stated that the fall at home was less severe but still traumatic. In September, he performed at the SoFi Stadium halftime show for the season opener between the Los Angeles Rams and the Buffalo Bills. The next day, he released Patient Number 9, his thirteenth solo studio album.
