Megan Thee Stallion was met with criticism and skepticism when she came forward and spoke out about the fateful night Tory Lanez screamed at her and shot her in the foot.

What was supposed to be an innocent get-together or house party at beauty mogul and reality star Kylie Jenner's house in 2020 became a nightmare for the "Body" rapper.

Megan Thee Stallion initially told police that she had injured her feet after stepping on broken glass, however, she eventually told everyone the truth: Lanez had shot her in the foot.

She also revealed that she "could not walk" following the shooting and had to undergo surgery to remove the bullet fragments from her foot-or at least most of it.

Over two years later, Lanez was found guilty of three felony counts in relation to the shooting, and Megan Thee Stallion can rest a little easier now that her shooter will be locked behind bars.

After the news of Lanez's conviction, Adele gave Megan Thee Stallion a shoutout during her Las Vegas show.

After performing one of her hits, "Water Under the Bridge," the Grammy-Award winner said, "Well today, tonight, I would like to wish Meg Thee Stallion a very, very merry, merry Christmas!"

"Girl, get your peace. Do whatever you want now, baby! I love ya!" the British singer added.

Janelle Monae also showed the rapper support by tweeting: "Sending the (((biggest hug))) (((love))) & (((peace))) to Megan Pete," referring to Megan Thee Stallion by her real name.

"Sending love and healing to [Megan Thee Stallion] #ProtectBlackWomen," wrote Tinashe on Twitter.

Baby Tate wrote: "I can't imagine the nightmare that this past two years has been for you, and I know that this verdict won't erase that but I pray it helps you on your journey to finding peace and healing! We love you."

Other artists like Zara Larsson, Finneas, and Cardi B all gave the rapper their support, reports say.

The support comes in months, if not years after several artists doubted her story and even poked fun at the violence Megan Thee Stallion went through.

A Drake song even featured the lyrics: "This bitch lie about getting shot but she still a stallion."

Many speculate that the Canadian rapper was referring to Megan Thee Stallion, Vox reported. He has never addressed the speculations regarding the lyrics.
