More sinister and heinous things R. Kelly has done to Aaliyah have come to light following the release of the last two installments of "Surviving R. Kelly."

The documentary series allows the disgraced R&B singers' survivors to shed light on the traumatic experiences they had to endure beneath the wrath of R. Kelly.

Aaliyah is one of the names linked to Kelly. She was once married to him, although short-lived, she too allegedly endured abuse from him, but was quickly silenced with a non-disclosure agreement, reports say.

Kelly and Aaliyah met in the early 1990s when the late singer's uncle introduced the 15-year-old to Kelly, almost twice her senior.

Kelly immediately took Aaliyah under his wing. He became her mentor and the producer of her debut studio album, "Age Ain't Nothing but a Number," released in 1994.

The album apparently was inspired by events that actually took place in the late singer's life.

According to reports, Kelly and Aaliyah illegally tied the knot when she was just 15 years old, and he was 27. They falsified her age to be 18 on the marriage documents.

The "Try Again" singer's parents caught on and annulled the marriage in 1995, but it was already too late. Aaliyah was allegedly abused by the singer.

Jim DeRogatis, the journalist who broke the news of the NDA, recalled the contents of the document: "It's a harrowing document. A non-disclosure agreement on both her part and Kelly's, vowing not to pursue further legal claims for physical abuse. So, it wasn't just an underage sexual relationship, he hit her, allegedly, according to that court document."

Agreement

According to the Lifetime documentary series, the non-disclosure agreement served its purpose for both parties: Kelly's atrocious actions would be kept a secret, and Aaliyah's family would buy the rights to the singer's first three albums, including financial incentives.

Gem Pratt, who was Kelly's former security and childhood friend, shared details that happened during the marriage, annulment, and afterward.

"Her dad didn't want her anywhere near him," Pratt said, referring to Aaliyah's father.

Elsewhere in the documentary series show people who were well aware of Kelly and Aaliyah's illegal relationship feeling remorse, reports say.

Furthermore, the last episodes of "Surviving R. Kelly" highlight the people who did nothing and turned a blind eye to the atrocities that the singer had done throughout the years.
