Diddy showered his best friend, Mary J. Blige, with praise amid her continuous success in the music industry.

Starting her career in 1988, Blige worked hard to score the nickname "Queen of Hip-hop Soul" and "Queen of R&B." She also set countless firsts and broke records other artists previously hold.

According to Diddy, Blige's efforts in highlighting what women are capable of made her more deserving of the success she is getting now.

Meanwhile, Blige said Diddy was her biggest cheerleader, and he did more than teach her about what she always wanted in life. She noted how the rapper wanted all of her success for her more than she wanted them herself.

"More than being my sister and my best friend, she will forever be a pioneer and the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, who remains an unstoppable force that can accomplish anything she sets her mind to," Diddy continued.

Blige continued by saying she was not as ambitious as Diddy, whom she calls Puff. She recalled feeling afraid to do anything and knowing what success feels like.

The singer, after meeting Diddy, finally became capable of growing into the musician she is now.
