With a week away until the highly anticipated stage comeback of Rihanna at the Super Bowl, no mentions of her musical guests were announced yet.

But according to musical director Adam Blackstone, who will be directing the once-in-a-lifetime performance, Rihanna's Super Bowl performance is going to be "epic."

Last year, Rihanna shocked everyone with her announcement of headlining the 2023 NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance.

With just her hand, holding a football, her Instagram post and a period in her caption, Rihanna has awakened her sleeping fans. The Instagram post has now logged more than 7 million likes and over 170,000 comments.

But ever since her big announcement, fans have been scrambling for crumbs and easter eggs on who will be Rihanna's Super Bowl guests on her upcoming performance.

In September 2022, a TMZ source revealed that more than 50 artists were in consideration to be Rihanna's Super Bowl guest performer. Another source also revealed that there is a high likelihood that she would be working with her previous collaborators.

Drake, Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Neyo, and even Paul McCartney's names came into the mix as they have collaborated with the "California King Bed" hitmaker before.

However, the stan world is manifesting for Nicki Minaj to be Rihanna's Super Bowl guest performer. The two have collaborated before on "Fly" and have rekindled their friendship in the past years following Nicki's birth to Papa Bear, and Rihanna becoming a mother.

Adam Blackstone, who will be helming the director's chair on the upcoming show, recently talked to Good Morning America to tease more about the upcoming music event.

"The story that she wants to tell is, 'Let's be epic.' Let's let this be a moment in time that people will have never seen or heard before. We're forcing the concert in the middle of the biggest sporting event in the world," he revealed.

When he was asked who will be Rihanna's Super Bowl guests, Blackstone knew he had to say nothing.

"I think you'll be in for a surprise," he teased. With less than two weeks left until the show, major updates for Rihanna's Super Bowl performance have not yet been released.

Apple Music, who will be replacing Pepsi as the main player of the Super Bowl Halftime show, released a Rihanna Essentials playlist on their platform leading to the upcoming show.

Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show will take place on Feb. 12, 2023, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
