Gwen Stefani is still fighting her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, years after their divorce was finalized.

It seems like they ended severely because it has been revealed that they are still legally fighting over custody of somebody.

The 57-year-old Bush frontman reportedly turned down Gwen's desire to spend quality time with their adored geriatric Pomeranian puppy, Chewy, because the dog is just a few years old, according to The National Enquirer.

"Gwen is anxious to see the dog and spend some precious time with Chewy," a source close to the former couple reportedly said. "But Gavin is having none of it and has turned the puppy into a pawn in his long-running feud with her."

Every time life requires these two to work together, they act in a petty and juvenile way toward one another.

After 13 years of marriage, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were divorced in 2015.

While the couple kept the details of their divorce a secret, it was widely believed that Gavin had cheated on the No Doubt singer with their children's nanny.

Gwen described her divorce as "a tremendous explosion in my life" in an interview with Harper's Bazaar in 2016, but she also said that it had eventually been "the greatest thing that ever happened" to her.

Gwen and Gavin have remained devoted co-parents to their three boys despite the challenging circumstances surrounding their separation.

An insider stated that the dog was the "Hollaback Girl" singer's constant companion until the marriage broke down due to Gavin's infidelity, even though Gavin was granted custody of their shored dog by "some quick of the marital settlement."

According to the insider, Gavin supposedly thinks he has the last laugh, but opportunities keep coming up, and in the end, Gwen will triumph against her ex-husband.

It's unclear if Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani entered into a prenuptial agreement before to their 2002 wedding.

None of them has officially acknowledged or disputed having a prenuptial agreement.

Gavin and Gwen may have signed a prenuptial agreement to safeguard his assets in the case of a divorce, but it's important to keep in mind that when they were married, the singer was already well-known and had achieved success with his band, Bush.

Whatever the case, any prenuptial agreement's specifics would be confidential and not made public.

The former couple has joint custody of their children 50/50, however Gwen did not receive custody of the dog.

For the benefit of their kids, the former couple has deliberately prioritized co-parenting and kept a positive connection.

Gwen discussed the positives and drawbacks of co-parenting in a 2019 interview with "Today," stating that it needs "a lot of balancing and sacrifice" but eventually helps build a stable atmosphere for their children.

Gavin has also been outspoken about his desire to co-parent, telling People in a 2020 interview that he and Gwen have a good connection and that their children are doing well.

Nonetheless, it might be better to treat this claim of a fight between Gwen and Gavin over a dog with a grain of salt.
