Weezer's new album and it's return to form Everything Will Be Alright In The End has had its release date pushed back. Yesterday (Aug. 21), the "Back to the Shack" band announced that it got "additional news" that made its original Sept. 30 release date a thing of the past.

In a post on their official website, Weezer revealed that the recording sessions for Everything Will Be Alright In The End had wrapped up on time, but outside influences (probably label stuff) meant that date had to pushed back one week, to Oct. 7.

"This is a bummer and we really hate to make our fans wait longer. We worked very hard to finish the album on time for you, so we're really sorry about this and hope you understand," the band said in a statement.

To make it up to the most hardcore Weeezer fans, the band announced that those who preorder EWBAITE will receive one new song on the original release date to get a new taste of the album.

To further make up the short delay, Weezer also revealed the tracklist for its new album. The 11-song Everything Will Be Alright In The End of course features lead single "Back To The Shack," in addition to the previously teased song "Ain't Got Nobody."

Other tracks on the album seem wonderfully self-aware (like any good Weezer song) with titles like "Eulogy For A Rock Band," "I've Had It Up To Here" and "Go Away."
