Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans married in an intimate wedding on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on December 2, 2017.

Kelsea and Morgan first met when they co-hosted the Australian Country Music Awards in Queensland, Australia, in March 2016. Later that year, they began dating and announced their engagement on Instagram in December 2016.

They have regularly shown their love for one other on social media and in interviews since their marriage. Morgan also co-wrote many songs for Ballerini's third studio album, "kelsea," which will be released in 2020.

Nevertheless, after five years of marriage, the couple announced their divorce in August 2022 and formalized their divorce in November 2022.

There are several tales regarding why they ended their marriage after already experiencing difficulties.

But, an insider informed Us Weekly that they chose to split for one key reason.

They said the singer of "half of my hometown" was "young and naive" when she met the Australian country music artist. Their relationship has been described as an emotional rollercoaster, despite the fact that they clicked immediately away.

Their relationship was allegedly "intense," with "friction, stress, and poison."

The 29-year-old American singer-songwriter struggled for so long to keep her sentiments disguised, but her loved ones eventually noticed the underlying problems in her marriage.

In fact, she even kept it a secret from most in her life.

"Morgan and Kelsea's main issue was their disagreement about having kids."

The insider said Kelsea wasn't ready to expand her family with the 37-year-old despite the latter already being prepared "for a long time."

"They had been having issues, relating to each other and trouble being kind to each other, but the disagreement over kids was the nail in the coffin."

Kelsea Ballerini has concentrated on her music after their divorce.

According to the source, the songwriter had become her treatment. She does, however, make an effort to be courteous.

After all, she and Morgan have two distinct versions of the narrative, which is presently on display.

Morgan did imply that the decision to cut the power was not his. "I wish it were different, but it isn't."

Later that year, he released "Over for You," a song about the end of their marriage.
