Fans have been looking forward to seeing SZA perform live on her "SOS" tour as the visuals and set design of her concerts have been making rounds online over the past few weeks. However, it appears that fans in Philadelphia would have to wait a little longer as organizers have canceled her show in the city.

The Wells Fargo Center recently shared an announcement on their official Twitter account and website about the last-minute cancellation, writing, "The SZA performance scheduled for today at Wells Fargo Center is postponed."

Organizers noted that fans are encouraged to hold onto their passes as a rescheduled date will be announced "shortly" and tickets that have been initially purchased will still be honored.

On the other hand, opening act Omar Apollo has announced that he would be performing at a show in New York City instead of the canceled Philly tour date.

As of this writing, SZA has not publicly acknowledged the reason why her concert was postponed. Live Nation has also not given an official statement about the matter.

The R&B artist's next set of shows would be a back-to-back concert on March 4 and 5 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The singer's team has not announced whether the abovementioned dates are also canceled or not.

After the announcement was shared online, many fans immediately took to Twitter to express their disappointment as many of them took time off work and drove all the way to Philadelphia just to watch the concert, but it was canceled at the last minute.

"I flew all the way from Seattle to take my niece to this concert. Yall should compensate people by offering refunds. You guys messed up, we did not," one wrote.

"litterally crying, why did @sza sos tour get canceled tonight in Philly. I litterally drove out of town and took off work for this and no concert. my heart hurts this was my first concert and I was so excited," another one wrote.
