Like everyone in the world, humans have an affinity for good music. Listening to music has been widely proven to increase one's productivity and was even linked to influencing a person's mood and one's overall outlook in life.

Members of the British Royal Family are no exemption from that. In fact, King Charles, who recently ascended to the highest throne in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations, just revealed his very own coronation playlist!

King Charles Coronation Playlist Revealed

Specifically and intricately handpicked on the monarch's behalf by the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sports, King Charles III's Coronation Playlist for his upcoming coronation rites has finally been released on Spotify.

According to Variety, the songs handpicked on King Charles III's coronation playlist featured British musicians and "songs likely to get local masses in a festive mood."

Classic tunes from venerated British artists can be heard on King Charles III's coronation playlist, but there were shockingly a few modern hits, including ones from Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and even 2022's Song of the Summer, Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)."

Notably, Britain's biggest band, Rolling Stone, was seemingly snubbed on King Charles III's Coronation Playlist.
