Months after Takeoff passed away, his good pal and collaborator Quavo will be releasing a new song again in honor of his late Migos groupmate; when is it coming out?
Taking to his official Instagram account, the musician shared a black-and-white photo of himself smoking in a music video set.
In the caption, the hip-hop artist revealed the title to be "Honey Bun." He also confirmed that the track is in honor of his friend as he wrote, "For Take Off" along with a rocketship emoji.
For fans who are waiting for the song to be released, Quavo will drop the track this Friday, March 31, 2023.
Takeoff New Song 2023: Late Rapper Featured in Offset's Track
It appears that Quavo isn't the only one paying tribute to the late rapper as his Migos co-member, Offset, also previewed a track, but it features his good pal's vocals.
In early reports, the hip-hop star took to his official Instagram stories to share a teaser of his upcoming song with Takeoff and Icewear Vezzo.

Offset, who was wearing a green outfit complete with jacket, sunglasses, and a printed hat, was inside his car where the song was being played in the background. He vibed throughout the song as he nodded his head up and down.
The musician has not revealed the official release date and more details about the upcoming collaboration.

Sydney Leday, one of the victims of the shootout that happened in Houston last November 1, spoke to The Shade Room where she revealed more information about the tragic incident which claimed the life of Takeoff.
The victim said she was around the area to celebrate her 24th birthday with her friends. Leday said she and her pals were about to leave the venue at around 1 in the morning when someone pulled out a gun.
She ran for her life to be saved from the incident, but she didn't realize she was also hurt. Everything sunk in when she saw a lot of blood and felt a "sting" in her head.
"fortunately, I had on a wig and a wig cap. So, I took the wig off and noticed that I had a lot of blood," she said. (via Complex)
