The 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards is coming back to the spotlight.
Following its last ceremony in Texas in 2015, the Academy of Country Music Awards confirmed its return to the state this year. The event was usually held in Las Vegas, but it moved to Nashville when the COVID-19 pandemic started.
In 2022, it opened its doors at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with Dolly Parton, Jimmie Allen, and Gabby Barrett as hosts.

2023 Academy of Country Music Awards Hosts
The Rolling Stone confirmed that Parton would be returning to the main stage as a host alongside Garth Brooks. While it will be the "Coat of Many Colors" crooner's latest hosting gig at the ACM Awards, it will be Brooks' first stint at the awards ceremony.
Parton expressed her excitement in a statement, saying she would return with her friend this time.
"While I've had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can't believe we've never had the chance to work together. In addition, getting to see all this great new talent in Country music, I am excited to have the chance to premiere the lead single from my upcoming rock album on the show!" the country singer said.
Meanwhile, Brooks said anyone who works with Parton makes a great couple with her.
The Academy of Country Music CEO and the ACM Awards' executive producer Damon Whiteside shared how hyped the board feels after naming its hosts.

2023 Academy of Country Music Awards Performers
Whiteside spoke for ACM Awards and revealed a few details about the event to fans. Per the EP, the show will feature the country music industry's emerging talents and legendary performers.
It is yet to release a complete list of performers, but several singers will join a live concert after the Topgolf fundraiser for ACM Lifting Lives on May 10. Morgan Wallen & Friends HARDY, Lainey Wilson, ERNEST, Bailey Zimmerman, and DJ 13lackbeard will be present at the live event.

This year's ACM Awards will be held on May 11 at the Star in Frisco, Texas. Fans who want to watch the show in person can acquire tickets through Amazon Freevee.
