Tory Lanez's sentencing is getting increasingly delayed as his legal camp is bending over backward to fight for a new trial.

Megan Thee Stallion won the high-profile assault trial against Tory Lanez, who was proven to have shot the female rapper in the foot back in 2020.

Tory Lanez Sentence Delayed

As per multiple reports from NBC News and Meghan Cunniff's blog, the highly-awaited Tory Lanez sentencing has been delayed again after multiple times of reschedulings.

Most recently, the sentencing should have been done last Apr. 10, 2023, but was further delayed by Lanez's legal camp.

This time, Judge David J. Herriford was the one who had it purposely delayed to give time for Tory Lanez to exercise their right to appeal. Now, Tory Lanez's sentencing trial date is scheduled on Apr. 17, 2023, in Los Angeles.

The Tory Lanez Sentencing has been delayed multiple times already. Supposedly, the last day should have been last Apr. 10, 2023, but Herriford decided to extend the date.

Tory Lanez's lawyers asked for another trial last month. In building their case upon it, Herriford added an extension as Lanez's legal camp sought to add to their argument for the huge appeal.
