Nicki Minaj Vaccine Bill

George Santos, the Representative from the state of NY, has introduced seven legislative actions, one mainly spurred by rapper Nicki Minaj. The bill is known as "The Minaj Act."

Journalist Kadia Goba says its primary goal is to "establish a development period for new vaccines to generate public confidence."

This bill was introduced with its roots in Nicki Minaj's disapproval of COVID-19 vaccines roughly eighteen months ago. This opinion caused her to receive much criticism.

The "Anaconda" singer tweeted during that time, "They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. If I get vaccinated, it won't [be] for the Met."

"It'll be once I feel I've done enough research. I'm working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grip your head & face. Not that loose one."

In the wake of her story, medical professionals examined the allegation that her cousin became "impotent" after getting the vaccine. Yet, to the dismay of many, no empirical data was found to corroborate these claims.
