However, the female rapper recently had an issue with her legal name online as her post was taken down from Instagram; what happened?

According to Uproxx, the 23-year-old superstar took to her account to post a photo with the caption "Ayo Isis." The social media platform then took down the post and gave Ice Spice a warning, citing "violence and dangerous organizations" as it was against their community guidelines.

The rap artist shared the incident on her Instagram stories, writing, "can't type my name is ode" along with a crying emoji.

What is Ice Spice's Real Name?

For her fans, almost everyone knows that her legal name is Isis Naija Gaston. She was born on January 1, 2000, and spent her early life in The Bronx, New York.

The musician's father is African-American, while her mother is of Dominican descent. Her parents got separated and divorced when she was younger, leading her to spend most of her time with her grandmother.

It appears that the two have been hinting about the remix over the past few weeks as the rap royalty previously posted the Bronx artist's magazine cover with the caption, "Gag. The People's PRINCESS. catch it!!!"

She also shared the lyrics of the song prior to its release online, writing, "B**** *slow so I gih dem a pass. Nah. Grah! No more passes Princess... Let's go."

In addition, Ice Spice is now part of Nicki Minaj's new record label, Heavy On It.

The rapper seemingly confirmed that the 23-year-old artist signed a partnership with her company after fans noticed that their collaboration song is co-distributed by Heavy On It as well as 10K Projects under Universal Music Group.
