Lil Wayne failed to impress his fans with his recent Atlanta concert cancelation.

Fans have been calling out Lil Wayne after the rapper did not push through with his scheduled set in Atlanta. They criticized him for "wasting" the expenses they made just to attend the now-canceled concert.

Lil Wayne Cancels Atlanta Concert

As part of his Welcome to Tha Carter Tour, Lil Wayne - whose real name is Dwyane Michael Carter Jr. - has been visiting states over the past months. He was also supposed to perform in Atlanta on Saturday, but he delivered bad news hours before the show.

On his Instagram Story on Friday, the 40-year-old musician said he would reschedule the show at The Tabernacle due to "unforeseen circumstances." He sent his apology to fans before expressing his excitement to make it up to them soon.

Fans bombarded him with condemnation for the last-minute cancelation and criticized him for wasting their "money, time, and effort." They took their dismay on Instagram and Twitter, detailing what they did to attend the concert.

"You cancelled Atlanta- $1,000 on good tickets and I got a call from ticket master, 6 hours prior, that it's cancelled... I've been waiting 23 years for this," one said.

He has not shared an update regarding his next show in Birmingham, Alabama, on Monday. The new Atlanta show schedule has not also been finalized.

It was not the first time he canceled concerts and appearances in the past months.

Lil Wayne Has History of Canceling Shows

Weeks ago, The Scheels Arena announced that Lil Wayne's April 6 concert was postponed due to the weather conditions in Fargo. He will reportedly make a stop on May 21 instead.

He also canceled his appearance on the final day of the Beale Street Music Festival in February.

The same thing happened to his 2022 Lil Weezyana Fest, citing "unforeseen circumstances." At that time, he issued an apology statement on Instagram, as well.

On the other hand, the "Sucker for Pain" hitmaker's supposed first UK show in 14 years at the Strawberries & Creem festival in Cambridgeshire did not happen after the Home Office refused his entry. The festival released a statement regarding the last-minute decision and had Ludacris replace him instead.
