Having now attended the Met Gala, Lizzo has taken away the event's glamour to reveal what it's like.

The "Juice" singer spoke about having long waits for the prestigious event organized by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and apologized for doing so.

To attend this prestigious event, you'll need a special invite and be prepared for the costly price tag between $30,000 and $50,000.

Of course, a designer outfit is essential following the yearly theme. For 2023, the Met Gala will commemorate "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" - honoring the late Chanel creative director and fashion designer.

Recalling her previous experience at the illustrious ball, Lizzo shared some details about the event that could have been more pleasant, per the Daily Mail.

The singer described what it was like to wait in line: "It's taking the glamour away from it but it's true. You've gotta wait."

The "Good As Hell" hitmaker further revealed, "So you're waiting and that's the hardest part. I was sweating in a big-a** coat, my feet were hurting."

In 2022, Thom Browne created a masterpiece for Lizzo. She stunned the audience with her flute performance while wearing it on the red carpet.

Lizzo also revealed how there are no chairs or even cocktails.

"I was like, 'b--tch can we get some chairs or some drinks or some hors d'oeuvres?"

Upon arriving at the event, Lizzo remembered being offered a surprisingly limited selection of drinks.

She expressed her disbelief, asking how she was only being provided red and white wine when they could've shown her tequila because "Do you know what I've been through? Do you know how many hours I've been in this corset? How long I've been in these damn shoes?"

Arriving with her $55k flute to treat the photographers, instead of being appreciated, she was heckled. Those taking her pictures accused her of "putting us to sleep."

Recalling the night fondly, Lizzo views her evening at the Met as her special "prom."

"This is like prom for celebrities. My prom f-----g sucked. Now I feel like the Grammys and the Met Ball, they're like my prom."
