Taylor Swift has long paid homage to her most ardent admirers for their enthusiasm in deciphering the puzzles she sets.

Now, they have a new enigma to work through - an obscure book that has recently come to light.

Macmillian imprint Flatiron has announced that a book without a title will be released on July 9, 2023, with the author's identity to be unveiled beforehand. This mysterious work is "4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023."

Since its release, this book has created a great deal of excitement amongst Swifties, as they strongly believe that Taylor Swift has been involved in some way - although there is no definitive evidence to support this suggestion and thus far, no statement from the "Lover" singer who is currently on tour.

The book at the center of all the Swifties' enthusiasm is flying off the virtual shelves - it's currently #1 on Barnes & Noble's pre-sales list and Amazon's Photography and Video section. Even more impressively, it was as high as #2 in overall books before settling at #58.

It is now possible to pre-order a hardcover copy of an upcoming book for $45, with a Kindle version available at $29.99.

On Monday, rumors began to circulate regarding this new work thanks to a document shared on social media from Flatiron Books, according to Page Six.

It stated they had plans to release an unspecified major nonfiction title on June 13, which would include information such as its title and author name.

When news of the book broke out, there was much speculation about whether this was a Taylor Swift project - mainly because 13 is the singer's favorite number.

However, those who did more research on the book soon noticed interesting clues pointing to her involvement.

Firstly, its page count totaled 544 - with 5+4+4 equaling 13.

Observers quickly identified a special connection between the book's release date and Taylor Swift's discography. Released in 2010, the song Last Kiss from her album "Speak Now" contains the same date: July 9.

On July 7, the "Lavender Haze" singer revealed that she will release an updated version of her sixth studio album, "Speak Now: Taylor's Version."

This marks the latest project in her ongoing effort to re-record her first six albums after music manager Scooter Braun acquired them while she was under Big Machine Records.

Advertised as a "biography or autobiography," the book was planned to have an enormous initial printing of one million copies, with over 40 color photographs included.

Although there have been various hints that Taylor Swift was involved with the book, Variety has undoubtedly confirmed that she is not its author.
