Mathew Rosengart has been providing his services to Britney Spears without any payment.

TMZ reported that this starkly contrasts the over 4 million dollars he has earned from her since becoming her attorney in July 2021.

The "Baby One More Time" singer paid a former federal prosecutor $4.2 million from November 2021 till March 2023. This figure considers the services the lawyer provided after her conservatorship was finished.

Since her release from the legal conservatorship one and a half years ago, the Grammy award winner has yet to see a full resolution in court.

In an ongoing battle, she is contesting Jamie Spears, her estranged father, and Lou Taylor, her former business manager, regarding financial disputes such as accounting and fees.

Mathew also proudly expressed his sentiments to Page Six, saying, "We are very proud of our work of nearly two years and Britney's appreciation of it and we will continue to fiercely fight for her."

Jamie was removed from his role as conservator, and the arrangement dissolved entirely.

The renowned legal powerhouse successfully created a prenuptial agreement ahead of when the "Toxic" singer married Sam Asghari and helped obtain a restraining order against her ex-husband Jason Alexander.

On top of these achievements, he also negotiated deals for her collaboration with Elton John on "Hold Me Closer" and a forthcoming memoir.

Compared to what Mathew has received, a sum of $4.2 million from Britney, who is 41 years old, reports suggest that her father and various lawyers have taken more than $36 million from her estate throughout her almost 14-year conservatorship.

In January 2022, Mathew Rosengart alleged in a legal document that Jamie was paid an astronomical sum of "at least $6 million" for managing his daughter's personal and financial affairs upon her struggles in February 2008.

In response, Jamie Spears has vehemently denied any wrongdoing. However, a filing has indicated that he requested fees to be paid out over $30 million to various law firms.

Although her chart-topping albums, the $15 million "The X Factor" judging deal, and a four-year Las Vegas concert series that generated an impressive $137.7 million were among other income sources, it was reported that once Britney Spears' conservatorship came to an end, she had a net worth of only $60 million.
