Jay-Z is currently facing a controversy after a man who claims to be his son is pursuing a paternity suit against the rapper, but the stories that allegedly happened over 30 years ago might not even be true.

A notarized affidavit dated February 25, 2015, was recently obtained by Daily Mail UK wherein a woman named Wanda Satterthwaite shared the story of how she met the hip-hop legend decades ago.

In the letter, the claimed that she met the "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker after talking, dancing, and drinking with him.

Later that evening, she went into the room to hook up with Shawn, which is the real name of Jay-Z. Satterwhwaite said both of them have "protected sex," but the condom allegedly broke at the time.

Two weeks later, the rapper reportedly told her to "leave" him, but she denied him as her mother would be mad at her.

The woman never saw the musician again until she watched her on television years later. At the time, she had no idea what his real name is and didn't have any clue how to get in touch with him.

Unfortunately, Wanda Satterthwaite died in 2019, but the letter resurfaced due to her son's paternity case.

Jay-Z's Alleged Baby Mama's Story Not True?

After the alleged affidavit went viral following its release online, a source spoke to Page Six, saying that the story was not true.

The insider said Jay-Z doesn't know who Wanda Satterthwaite was and they never met each other. They further slammed the claims as the affidavit might not be real because it was "never filed in court" in the first place.

"It's just another form of stalking. Jay-Z doesn't even know this person," the source added.

Jay-Z Paternity Suit

Per the outlet, the alleged son named Rymer Satterthwaite filed a court order to demand the rapper for him to take a DNA test.

The man has been reportedly trying to pursue the paternity suit for a decade now and even asked the court earlier this year to unseal records that date back to 2012.

In addition, Wanda filed a civil lawsuit in New Jersey to ask for child support in 2011, but it was later dismissed as the case was filed in the wrong state. It was never re-filed until her death in 2019.

As of this writing, Jay-Z has not publicly commented on the matter.
