Taylor Swift recently announced that she will be releasing "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," but fans are already speculating that another album is well on its way.

According to Vulture, while no one is certain which rerecording is next, "1989" is a pretty good bet because the "Anti-Hero" singer has already released two tracks from the album.

In November 2021, out of the blue, Swift surprised her fans by releasing "Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)"; Then in May 2022 she dropped "This Love (Taylor's Version)," which appeared in the series "The Summer I Turned Pretty."

1989 Easter Eggs

Over the weekend, during her Philadelphia show, for her second surprise song, Swift performed "This Love."

The nod to the album has caused fans to spiral a little bit, "[What do you mean] '1989 (Taylor's Version)'?"

"WILL TAYLOR ALSION SWIFT ANNOUNCE 1989 TV TONIGHT?!?!" A fan wrote. "Keep in mind - Tonight is the 13/5. 13 is her lucky number. 1989 is her 5th album. Philly is her hometown. There is a 1989 TV banner in the VIP tent and IT'S MAY MAYHAM!"

This fan is referring to a picture shared online of what appears to be a "1989 (Taylor's Version)" banner during her recent tour.

"1989 TV on Friday, October 11, 2024, is the only date. reputation is next, this fall," another wrote.

"A year ago today was the infamous swiftie summer merch drop when we all thought we were getting '1989 TV' ... Taylor Swift has an opportunity to do the funniest thing by announcing '1989 TV' tonight."

Taylor's Version

While the recent performance of "This Love" has caused fans to speculate heavily on whether "1989 (Taylor's Version" is slated for a release, this actually is not the first time Swift has performed a song from her fifth studio album.

According to reports, the "All Too Well" singer performed "Clean" in one of her shows in Texas, dedicating it to Gracie Abrams, one of her tour openers, then "Wonderland" a few weeks later.

So far, Swift has released two rerecorded albums from her intended five: "Fearless (Taylor's Version" and "Red (Taylor's Version)."

She is yet to release "Speak Now (Taylor's Version," but it is expected to drop in July, as well as her versions of "1989" and lastly, "Reputation."
