Bruce Springsteen is getting heat on social media as his concert in Ferrara, Italy is still greenlit despite the adverse weather conditions in the area. In the past few days, the said Italian region has been ravaged by heavy downpours that resulted in disastrous flooding.

According to reports, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have not announced any announcements of cancellations as of this writing.

Bruce Springsteen Italy Concert Still Continuing?

While artists like Bruce Springsteen only appear in countries like Italy quite rarely, any sound-minded concertgoer wouldn't think it would be a good idea to go to a concert when a ravaging flood affects a large part of the province.

According to The Independent, Bruce Springsteen's concert in Ferrara, Italy is still scheduled to take place despite the weather conditions in the area - triggering many fans to express their frustration and disappointment on social media.

So far, five people have been reported dead because of the natural disaster and around 5,000 residents were evacuated.

Springsteen and the E Street Band will be playing at the Parco Urbano G. Bassani Park in Ferrera. According to reports, the Emilia-Romagna is the most affected by the flooding and heavy downpour; Ferrera sits in the Northeastern part of the region.

Bruce Springsteen Fans Enraged Over Continuing Concert

Fans were dismayed to hear that the concert is still ongoing despite the heavy flooding and the adverse weather conditions.

"The Springsteen concert in Ferrara is confirmed, 120 euros per ticket, 50,000 sold and it will be a mess to get to Ferrara. The organizers had no respect for anyone. F1 has stopped. Everything except football has been canceled due to the pandemic," a user tweeted in frustration, as loosely translated to English.

"Anyway, it's scandalous that they're doing the Springsteen concert in Ferrara tonight. He will sing without an audience since all the main streets are blocked in several places," another commented.

People described the situation in the region to be "on their knees," and it has been surprising to know that an artist like Springsteen would not provide any updates or cancel the event beforehand.

In the past few months, fans of Bruce Springsteen have also expressed their disappointment with The Boss for not speaking out about the dynamic pricing scheme of Ticketmaster for his Arena tour in the United States.
