Paramore has been one of the most iconic bands in rock history as they amassed millions of fans worldwide and released songs that constantly topped the charts.

Before their massive fame in the present, little did fans know that the group started out performing in the streets just to share their talent to the world; how did the band get famous?

A resurfaced video is currently making rounds online showing the band, led by frontwoman Hayley Williams, jamming on the sidewalk.

The clip was reportedly taken in 2005 and it shows how different the members looked like almost two decades ago.

Paramore Old Video Resurfaces Online

According to Louder Sound, Williams signed under Atlantic Records when she was 13 years old. However, even though a record label was backing her, the singer didn't immediately get the fame that she wanted at an early age.

The outlet noted that the music company was pushing the singer to belt out pop tracks instead of emo/rock music that she became popularly known of.

A year after being formed, original members Josh Farro, Zac Farro, Jeremy Davis, and Williams took to streets to perform some of their earliest songs like "Here We Go Again," "Emergency," and "Pressure."

All tracks were able to make it to their first album "All We Know Is Falling" via Fuelled By Ramen.

How Did Paramore Get Famous?

According to Planet Radio, the original members would meet up and play songs together after school.

At the time, Davis was the only member who was of legal age, that's why Williams' parents would take the group to different festivals and shows to support them.

Davis left the band due to personal reasons which led to John Hembree replacing him.

The band was upset about their original member's departure and it let them to create their first album ever.

Although Paramore released their first album in 2005, they didn't become famous until 2007's "Riot!" which skyrocketed their careers as it featured some of the biggest songs of their entire career like "Misery Business," "That's What You Get," "Hallelujah," and more.

As of 2023, the band released over six studio albums, two live albums, and several singles. The group only has three members today: Hayley Williams, Zac Farro, and Taylor York.
