Morgan Wallen is definitely making a huge career stride as he achieved a new career milestone for his most recent album, "One Thing at a Time." The album has logged an eleventh consecutive week at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart.

It is now the first album of any genre, and now the first Country album, to have taken over the top spot for its first 11 weeks since Whitney Houston in 1987. Stevie Wonder also achieved the same feat back then in the late 70s after taking a 13-week straight No. 1 domination.

Morgan Wallen 'One Thing At A Time'

Country superstar Morgan Wallen is definitely taking one thing at a time as he notches his eleventh week atop the genre-blending Billboard 200 albums chart. It hasn't left the coveted chart's top spot since debuting on Mar. 18, 2023.

Luminate reported that "One Thing" racked up 134,500 album equivalent united this week, which comprised 124,500 streaming units, 8,000 album sales, and 2,000 track equivalent units.

Wallen's recent achievement is one of the Country genre's first huge milestones on the chart. He is the first Country album, and even the first album in any genre, to have stayed at the top spot since Whitney Houston's "Whitney" in 1987.

Additionally, Wallen's album was the longest-running country album at the top of the charts since Taylor Swift's "Fearless" reigned in 2008. The album spent 11 nonconsecutive weeks while "One Thing" did it on a straight streak.

Billboard also noted that Wallen has already spent 21 weeks at the top spot - thanks to his two albums, "One Thing" and "Dangerous." He bested Swift yet again as she only had 19 weeks at the top of the charts in the 2020 decade - "Folklore" (8), "Evermore" (4), "Fearless (TV)" (2), "Red (TV)" (1), and "Midnights (5)."

The career milestone achievement came weeks after Wallen continues to gain backlash over the abrupt cancellations of his concert shows across the United States.
