It's been more than a decade since the Spice Girls got together in one stage and it appears that fans' dreams are coming true in the near future as a reunion has been confirmed; is Victoria Beckham finally joining her good pals?

According to Marca, the five-member girl group is reportedly working on a "mystery project" that is still unclear.

Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, just confirmed that Beckham will join the group of musicians in the undisclosed project.

The outlet noted that the pop superstar revealed the information through her Instagram, revealing that all members, Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Beckham, will get together again after 11 years.

If ever the secret project is released, it would be the first time the five girls would collaborate with each other since their performance at the London Olympics' closing ceremony in 2012.

The four other members were able to go on tour in 2019, but the beauty guru/fashion designer opted not to join her former groupmates.

Spice Girls Reunion: Girl Group Working on 'Mystery Project'

Speaking with The Sun, Mel B revealed that the group is working on something that she "can't say right now" as they're still perfecting the project, but she assured their global supporters that they are going to love it.

"What that is, I can't say right now because we're just finishing off perfecting what we're going to be doing together, all five of us, but it's going to be something that the fans are really going to love," she told the outlet.

The singer was later asked on how they convinced Victoria Beckham, to which she revealed that the reunion is not about convincing, but rather about timing.

The reason why Posh Spice had been absent through the years is because of her hectic schedule due to her line of businesses as well as being a wife to David Beckham and being a mother to her children.

"She was really busy doing her fashion line and supporting David with his moves and his career and obviously she's got a bunch of kids so it's just about finding the right time," Scary Spice added.

Victoria Beckham on Not Joining the Spice Girls on 2019 Reunion Tour

Many fans were disappointed after it was announced in 2019 that only four of the original members of the Spice Girls would go on tour.

In a previous interview with Vogue Germany, Victoria Beckham shared the main reason why she opted not to join her peers.

Revealing her true feelings to the fashion magazine, the mom of four said it took her a lot of courage not to go on tour with her bandmates, adding that she would rather concentrate on her family and her businesses. (via Harper's Bazaar)
