Over the weekend, five of Drake's unreleased demos were leaked online, and this time, it included a song from Dr. Dre's highly anticipated album "Detox."

According to reports, several of the leaks are simply different versions of previously-leaked songs, like Drake's collab with TY Dolla $ign, "Jaded."

The most eye-catching and eyebrow-raising of all the leaked demos is definitely the song for "Detox"; it is a reference track Drake recorded for Dr. Dre called "Tell Me."

This new round of leaked Drake songs comes just two weeks after the hip-hop community was rattled by a series of leaks that came for Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, and of course, Drake.

Raided Vaults

Earlier this month, unreleased songs kept in the vault by Drake, Travis Scott, and Metro Boomin were leaked online and were passed around on social media and Reddit.

The songs were definitely one to look out for, and simply prove that just because these rappers have not released music in some time now, does not mean they have faded into obscurity.

As per HipHopDX, one of the leaked songs from Drake included a reference track called "Heated" for Beyonce, from her chart-topping album "Renaissance."

On the other hand, Scott's leaked songs include a collab with Bon Iver, called "Naked"; The song was said to be recorded during the early days in his career.

Another song called "Poet Paradise" was reportedly recorded during his "Rodeo" era, which was back in 2015.

Drake and his Demos

Drake is one of the most streamed artists on Spotify, however, despite that, he claims that artists still do not get paid enough for their art.

When he surpassed 80 billion streams, the rapper expressed his frustrations with the music streaming platform: "We should get bonuses like athletes to motivate the future artists to be consistent and competitive,

"So feel free to send me a Lebron-sized cheque I have enough dinner plates."

Perhaps the leaks are Drake's way of hyping the fans up for his next music release. His last album "Honestly, Nevermind" was released in 2022, and fand are eagerly waiting for the next one, however, there is still no word on when the Canadian rapper plans to drop his next project.

For now, fans will have to make do with the leaks online; and by all means, it seems like they are indeed enjoying them-at least while they last.
