During the "Eras Tour," Taylor Swift made sure to give a shoutout to one of the largest demographics of her fandom, the LGBTQIA+ community.

"I'm looking out and seeing so many incredible individuals who are living authentically and beautifully," the "Love Story" singer said. "This is a safe space for you. This is a celebratory space for you."

Swift has always been a proud supporter of the community, and although she has been under fire online for her lack of accountability in recent controversies that surround her, Swift found her voice for Pride.

"One of the things that makes me feel so prideful is getting to be with you and watching you interact with each other, being so loving and so thoughtful and so caring."

Lover Era

Swift first began openly talking about advocating for the community during her iconic "Lover" era, which was marked by the release for her seventh studio album "Lover."

She famously strutted and danced around her stage wearing rainbow-colored outfits, and released the "You Need to Calm Down" music video which featured a number of queer personalities.

"We can't talk about Pride Month without talking about pain," Swift continued. "There have been so many harmful pieces of legislation that have put people in the LGBTQ and queer community at risk.

"It's painful for everyone, every ally, every loved one, every person in these communities, and that's why I'm always posting, 'This is when the midterms are, this is when these important key primaries are.'"

LGBTQIA+ Ally?

According to reports, fans still are not sure whether Swift is an ally or a part of the community.

The singer has never openly talked about her sexuality, but that has not stopped fans from speculating.

According to reports, back in 2019, the "Anti-Hero" singer was seen sporting what seems to be a bi-Pride bracelet.

She was wearing a number of bracelets, but the particular one that fans latched on to was the one that read "PROUD" with blue, pink, and blue beads, which represents the bisexual pride flag.

Regardless of Swift's sexuality, Swift is a staunch supporter of Pride and she is making it known once again.

"We can support as much as we want during Pride Month, but if we're not doing our research on these elected officials-are they advocates? Are they allies? Are they protectors of equality? Do I want to vote for them?"
