Taylor Swift surely needs sustenance as she embarks on her ambitious and exhausting "The Eras" tour. Performing three times a week per state for more than three hours a day despite the weather conditions, Swift is evidently on a strict regimen and diet that only she could do.
However, during her last show in Chicago yesterday, Jun. 4, 2023, Swift performed at Chicago's Soldier Field without any plans of eating (or inhaling) any critter.

As she was about to embark on her "Evermore" set, Taylor Swift had a bit of a hiccup when she accidentally swallowed a bug moments before performing "Tolerate It."
"I just swallowed a bug," she said onstage as she covered herself with her hands, turning away from the fans. The revelation prompted laughs and icks from the fans, but it did not stop her from dealing with the fact that she just swallowed one.

After convincing herself and her fans that she would be "fine," Swift tried to spit out the bug as she shook her head off - "It's just so stupid" - she said.
"Delicious," she described her dinner. "Oh, god. Is there any chance none of you saw that? This is gonna happen again tonight. There's so many bugs. There's 1,000 of them."
According to Billboard, that wasn't the only booboo she encountered during her last show in Chicago.

Earlier last night, Taylor Swift also encountered a mic issue just as she was about to sing "Lover."
After dealing with it with a smile, one of the stage assistants handed her a new mic, although a regular one, that didn't stop her from performing as she does every time.
Encounters like these often happen at live concerts or live performances; it's just a matter of how artists choose how to handle it - professionally, comically, or in some of their own personal ways.
On Day 2, Swift was also met with a rather unsafe idea when she almost brought a young girl up on stage for one of her performances, to which she later retracted back.
