After a monumental demand for tickets in Argentina, Taylor Swift has officially added a third date for "The Eras" tour in the said country. The addition came on the heels of Swift announcing the 8-date trek on the South American continent last week.

Taylor Swift 'The Eras' Tour South America 2023

Originally, Taylor Swift was only scheduled to play two nights in Argentina. This was a day less than her scheduled trek in Brazil and Mexico.

Based on her announcement last Jun. 3, 2023, Swift starts her tour on Aug. 24, 2023, at the Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City, Mexico. It will last for three days, extending until Aug. 26, 2023.

However, it pauses for two months and would only resume on November 2023. In Argentina, it was only supposed to be two dates, on Nov. 9, 2023, and Nov. 10, 2023, at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Lastly, the South American tour end on a three-day trek in Brazil. One on Nov. 18, 2023, at the Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio De Janeiro, and two stops in Sao Paolo, Brazil, at the Allianz Parque Stadium on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26, 2023.

Sabrina Carpenter was announced to be opening for all the dates of Taylor Swift's South American tour.

Taylor Swift 'The Eras' Tour Argentina Concert Day 3

As the two countries received three dates each - Mexico and Brazil, Argentine Swifties had to squeeze themselves into the two days allotted for them.

According to Variety, Swift has officially added a third date for Argentina's "The Eras" tour. Now, Taylor Swift will be performing "The Eras" Tour in Argentina on Nov. 9, 10, and 11, 2023.

Based on a quick Google search, the official capacity of the River Plate Stadium in Argentina is only around 76,000 attendees. Meanwhile, the Swifties who lined up for the general onsale tickets in Argentina were reported to be around 2,000,000, a local news outlet reported.

Taylor Swift 'The Eras' Tour in Asia, Europe, Australia?

After her recent announcement, Taylor Swift promised her fans that there would be additional international dates soon. As of this writing, Swift has yet to announce the dates for her Asia, Europe, and Australian tour.
