Taylor Swift is continuing her commitment to helping communities and organizations by making sizeable donations to food banks in every city she will drop by for her North American leg of "The Eras" tour.

Swift performed for two days at the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, before heading toward the Acrisure Stadium in her Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, stop next week.

'The Eras' Tour: Taylor Swift Detroit Donation

According to a post on Facebook by Gleaners' Community Food Bank, Taylor Swift made a surprise donation to them during her "The Eras" tour stop in Chicago.

Per The Detroit Free Press, Swift made a "generous" donation to the food bank. The cost of the surprise donation was not specified.

"These words ring true today with Taylor's surprise donation to Gleaners during her #TSTheErasTour stop in #Detroit. Thank you for making an impact & empowering kids and families with nutritious food!" the organization said in a post.

Per Kristin Sokul, a spokesperson for Gleaners, Swift's support for food banks is very timely because resources are currently down for emergency food providers like them.

"Her generosity goes beyond dollars for meals. The space in her heart will empower households across Southeast Michigan to live happier, healthier lives and elevate the important issue of food security so others who have the ability to help can be inspired by her example. The entire Gleaners team is so grateful for this incredible gift," Sokul told the Detroit Free Press.

Iconic rapper Flavor Flav was in attendance on the show, as People Magazine reported. Like most Swifties, he traded and exchanged friendship bracelets with many of his co-Swifties.

Taylor Swift Detroit Concert

In an Instagram post, Taylor Swift thanked everyone for a blast of a concert. She even recalled the first time she performed at Ford Field when she sang the National Anthem in 2006.

"I remember thinking it felt impossible for a place to be that big, I was sooo insanely nervous - Thanks to those crowds this weekend for your endless energy and extremely loud scream-singing, you made us feel right at home," she posted.

After Detroit, Taylor Swift is making her way to the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for a two-day concert on Jun. 16 and 17.
