There has been a series of attacks happening to a few women in the music industry over the past few weeks and Kelsea Ballerini is the latest victim. A video of the singer's performance is now making rounds online where she was seen being hit with an object.

According to Billboard, the country songstress was performing at her concert in Boise, Idaho's Outlaw Field on Wednesday, June 28.

While belting out her smash hit track "If You Go Down (I'm Going Down Too)," the musician, who donned a flowy yellow dress, was seen jolting her head back before touching her eye.

At the time, one member of her band came to check on her, but she handed her guitar and went down the stage. She later returned that evening to interact with her fans.

Upon going back on stage, the singer told concertgoers not to throw things because she wanted her shows to be a safe place for everyone.

The following day, the singer took to her official Instagram Stories to react to the incident by sharing a photo of her performance, assuring fans that she is "fine."

She later discussed that one of the concertgoers threw a bracelet on stage, but, the situation got out of hand as it hit her in the eye.

"it more so just scared me than hurt me," she said.

The musician discussed why she decided to leave the stage after the ordeal, writing, "We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that's why i walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe."

Ballerini further discussed that all she ever wanted is to have a safe place for her and her fans. She then thanked her supporters for their concern and told them to make the last two shows of her tour "the best yet."

Although the intentions of the person who threw the bracelet remain unknown, Kelsea Ballerini is the latest female artist who got attacked while performing over the past few weeks.

Prior to her, Bebe Rexha was also struck in the face with a phone. The "Take Me Home" songstress suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. The man was reportedly arrested afterward.

On the other hand, Ava Max was also attacked while performing. She was playing a song for her fans during a concert when a man got up on stage and slapped her.
