To date, SZA's "Kill Bill" might be her biggest song to date! The yearning-revenge anthem has performed commercially well on the charts and is a frontrunner for the year-end lists of both the 2022 and 2023 charts!

"Kill Bill" landed SZA her first Billboard chart leader, thanks to an assist from Doja Cat and her action-packed music video, which almost had a "Kill Bill" special cameo from Uma Thurman.

SZA 'Kill Bill' Music Video: Uma Thurman Cameo Almost Happened?

According to Vivica A. Fox, she could have not been the only "Kill Bill" actress featured in SZA's biggest song, the lead character Black Mamba played by Uma Thurman almost happened.

Speaking to the AV Club, Fox said she thought that she was the second choice because Thurman did not respond to them initially.

"When I got it, I was surprised, to be honest with you. Cause they called...[It] took them five days to finally decide that they were going to hire me, 'cause I think they wanted Uma Thurman," she recalled.

However, the decision did not faze Fox, nor it did not offend her in any way because she saw the decision as fitting.

"But when you think about it, it's a little bit more fitting for SZA and Vivica to be together because we're both African American women, and when it came out, people just ran with it," she continued.

For Fox, the cameo she gave on SZA's "Kill Bill" sparked more fan clamor for a third volume of the iconic film franchise.

"They were like, 'They're going to make Kill Bill 3, finally.' Because people have been waiting for Kill Bill 3 for such a long time and see my daughter get revenge on Uma," Fox happily suggested.

In the film franchise, Fox plays Vernita "Copperhead" Green, a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad involved with the Massacre at Two Pines. Meanwhile, Uma Thurman plays the lead assassin, Beatrix Kiddo.
