Last week, Rachel Zegler called out trolls and haters who have been sharing their negative opinions about her being casted on the live action movie of "Snow White." More recently, Halle Bailey, who starred as Ariel in the live adaptation movie "The Little Mermaid," spoke out and supported the actress.

On July 15, Zegler took to her official Twitter account to share four photos of her younger self wearing different Disney princesses costume.

In the caption, the singer said she appreciate all the love and support from those who have been defending her on the internet, but she told them not to tag her in "the nonsensical discourse about my casting."

"i really, truly do not want to see it. so i leave you w these photos! i hope every child knows they can be a princess no matter what," she added.

Rachel Zegler as 'Snow White'

It was confirmed in 2021 that Rachel Zegler will be taking on the role of one of the most iconic Disney characters of all time, Snow White.

In a report published by Deadline at the time, the live-action film is said to begin in 2022 and will be directed by Marc Webb. In addition, Marc Platt is also part of the team as the producer.

"Rachel's extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her gifts... Her strength, intelligence and optimism will become an integral part of rediscovering the joy in this classic Disney fairytale," Webb said at the time.

As of this writing, there are still no details when the live adaptation would hit theaters. However, there have been reports last week that photos from the set have been leaked. (via NBC News)

A Disney spokesperson clarified the issue to The Daily Beast, confirming that the circulating photos are not from their production, but a representative from the media giant's "PR shop," confirmed that the images were real but not official.
