Eilish and Rutherford sparked reconciliation rumors months after a representative confirmed their breakup. Per the previous report, they remain good friends following the amicable split.

Billie Eilish, Jesse Rutherford Together Again?

On Rutherford's seemingly-deleted Instagram post (a fan reported the video on Twitter), Eilish can be seen shaving the 31-year-old musician's head, leading followers to be confused about their real score months after the split confirmation emerged.

"SO DID BILLIE & JESSE BROKE [sic] UP OR NAH?" one said (via OK! Magazine), while the other commented, "I thought him and billie broke up."

However, a Twitter user who spread the video clarified that it was recorded long before their breakup, dismissing the claims about Eilish and Rutherford's dating rumors. As a result, fans expressed their dismay as the post misled others and made them think the ex-couple reconciled.

 
One user wrote, "And maybe next time you should wrote your post better .... And with more responsibility ... now they are spreading everywhere they are dating again."

Eilish and Rutherford confirmed their relationship through an Instagram post before attending the LACMA Art + Film Gala 2022. The "Happier Than Ever" singer sparked dating rumors with Rutherford when they were spotted having dinner in Los Angeles and publicly held hands at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights the following evening.

The public immediately slammed the duo for their controversial costumes that poked fun at their age gap- with Eilish dressing up as a baby and Rutherford as an old man.

Amid the controversy, the singer's brother called out the haters and said his sister is an adult who is perfectly entitled to make her own decision.

Eilish's representative sent an exclusive statement to People revealing that the couple called it quits after less than a year of dating. The confirmation followed the initial post shared by New York Post's Page Six.

Even their split was bombarded with cheating rumors, leading the representative to dismiss the claims and clarify that both artists remain single.

Before the split, Eilish and Rutherford were last seen hanging out together at the 2023 Coachella Festival.
