Nipsey Hussle was released from jail in time for his Made In America performance.

According to MTV, Nip was arrested Friday, Aug. 29 in Los Angeles. He was taken into custody at Slauson Avenue Clothing in Hyde Park around 11:30 p.m.

LAPD Lt. Julius Guay stated the rapper was arrested for "obstructing a peace officer," as reported by NBC.

The police were reportedly called to the clothing store because of a probation complaint search. They arrested the man violating his probation, along with Nipsey Hussle.

It was unclear whether the Crenshaw rapper's arrest would interfere with his Made In America performance scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 31 but his management confirmed that he had been released with no charges.

Around midnight last night Nipsey Hussle was detained in an unsolicited random police probe near the flagship Marathon Clothing Store on Crenshaw Blvd. Police detained him and several other patrons while picking up food at a local restaurant. He was released Saturday morning with no charge. He will be performing live on the Made In America festival as scheduled on Sunday. Nipsey feels like his detainment was unjust and without cause.

Nipsey took to Twitter to clear the air himself.

Aside from Nipsey Hussle's arrest, there seems to be a dark cloud hovering Made is America this year, at least on the Los Angeles end.

As previously reported, it has been rumored that some shady ethical issues were at hand stemming from a questionable relationship between Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino.

City officials and residents have been raising eyebrows with regards to how the office of Mayor Garcetti managed to get the festival approved in what promoter Jay Z described as "record time."

The two-day weekend fest includes performances from Kanye West, John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Afrojack, Cypress Hill, Chance The Rapper, and several others.
