Cher put her new music on hold to focus on her newest business: an ice cream range.

After five years, Cher finally launched her ice cream range which she had been hinting at since January, saying that she was about to meet a top ice cream maker to help her with her business. The launch, however, happened while the singer also prepares for her comeback albums in England.

Cher Launches Ice Cream Business

Cher shared a sneak peek of her business through an Instagram Reel posted on Saturday. The 77-year-old "Believe" hitmaker recorded a clip showing the "Cherlato" ice cream truck designed with her name and photo.

"Yep, This Is Real.... I'm Launching My Gelato...." she captioned the post. "Watch Out LA️ All Started 5 Years Ago And Now It's Finally HAPPENING. More To Come...."

The launch came after she confirmed in January that she secured a collaboration with the greatest ice cream magician in the world. Though she did not name the top ice cream maker, her new venture immediately earned support and attention from her friends, colleagues, and fans as they express their desire to try the products soon.

Actor Jason Michael Snow even used puns to praise Cher's ice cream business, joking about the flavors using the singer's songs. They also sent their suggestions to the "If I Could Turn Back Time" crooner so that the business could add more flavors soon.

When Is Cher Releasing Her New Albums

Though Cher took the spotlight again with her new business, she has yet to release further details about her new albums months after confirming that she was working on them.

For what it's worth, the "The Shoop Shoop Song" singer told E! News that she and her then-boyfriend, Alexander Edwards, teamed up to create the new material in the UK. The duo reportedly called it quits a few weeks before the news emerged in May, ending their short-lived romance that started in November 2022.

"Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I'm pretty excited about that," she said at that time. "He's a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I'm happy about that. I think like any artist, when you've got something good, you're excited."

Aside from the two new albums, she also hyped fans with the confirmation about her upcoming tour later this year.
