Beyonce Gave Shakira A Shout Out But It's Not Actually The Singer?

During her "Renaissance" concert stop in Tampa Bay, Florida, Beyonce surprised fans when she gave Shakira a shout-out while performing "Love on Top."

Fans were actually thrilled hearing Beyonce give the Latina superstar a shout-out during her concert, but it turns out, that she's referring to another Shakira after all.

While in the midst of her "Love on Top" performance, Beyoncé seemed to have remembered Shakira while doing it. (via Hola! Magazine).

In front of the packed Raymond James Stadium, Beyonce seemingly paused her performance to give "Shakira" a shout-out while looking at the audience.

Shakira wasn't actually in the audience like most celebrities and singers did on the "Renaissance" tour stops.

"Shakira! Shakira, Shakira!" Beyonce said, singing to how Wycleaf Jean said it on "Hips Don't Lie."

Beyonce shouts out different singers and artists during the "Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)" performance but Shakira is not there.

A shout-out from Shakira isn't actually unlikely as the two have collaborated in the past on "Beautiful Liar."

In 2006, Beyonce spoke fondly of the Colombian singer.

"I love Shakira, I think she's so talented. Such a beautiful woman. Inside and outside, more importantly inside. It was so effortless working with her and we're fans. I'm a huge fan. I haven't belly danced, so I'm watching her, she's teaching me and I'm teaching her, and we just had a great time."

While a reunion of the two stars would be sensational; it seemed to be not the case because of a fan's revelation online.

Beyonce Shouted Out The Wrong Shakira?

According to a fan named Shakira, it was actually her that Beyonce was referring to, not the Colombian singer.

Apparently, Shakira, the fan, held a huge banner with "Say My Name Say My Name, Shakira." The fan was at the front and the banner was visible to Beyonce, which is why she looked at the direction of the fan before actually giving the shout-out.

"Hello guys, my name is Shakira. And that was my sign she was looking at. I was sitting in the pure honey risers vip b I freaking lost it when she said my name.

After Tampa, Beyonce is headed to the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, before heading to Missouri, Arizona, and then Nevada.
