Fans in Arizona are patiently waiting for 50 Cent to perform at his concert as he is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'." However, his scheduled show in Phoenix was postponed due to the extreme weather.

The rapper took to his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) to share the shocking announcement, saying 116 degrees is dangerous for concertgoers.

"Due to extreme heat, the show tomorrow in Phoenix, AZ is being postponed," he wrote.

In one of the photos that he shared, it shows a weather alert for Arizona which says that "excessive heat warning" is ongoing.

For those who are interested in getting their money back, 50 Cent noted that fans should go to their point of purchase for instructions.

Some fans were disappointed as the show was canceled just a few hours before it was set to take place. One user said they hope to get an afterparty again because the notification was sent to them at the last minute.

The Dangerous Heatwave is Affecting Other Concerts Across the United States

50 Cent wasn't the only artist affected by the extreme heatwave going on across the United States as it also had a negative impact on other artists' concerts.

Billboard reported that over 16 people were sent to the hospital for "heat-related illnesses" during Snoop Doggs' show in Houston, Texas. At the time, the temperature reportedly went up to a whopping 104 degress.
