According to Billboard immediately circulated as many fans speculated that one of the possible reasons why the pair's friendship was on the rocks was due to the Japanese singer's set at Glastonbury Festival where she appeared to have called out Matty Healy.

The 1975 frontman had been involved in several issues over the past few months, especially when he reportedly mocked Asians in an episode of "The Adam Friedland Show."

It's worth noting that Charli XCX is currently in a relationship with George Daniel, the Manchester-based band's drummer.
