Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just announced that they are divorcing after four years of marriage; apparently, it has been a long time coming for the couple.

"They were not separated but they've been living separate lives for months," a source told People magazine, adding that the Jonas Brothers singer and his actress wife "haven't gotten along in a while, but they're hoping to resolve this all amicably."

The news of the couple's divorce came as a complete shock to fans, especially the following reports that claim Jonas and Turner have "very different lifestyles."

The couple share two daughters; Willa, whom they welcomed in 2020, and their second child who was born in 2022.

The source also noted that Jonas and the "Game of Thrones" star will be focusing on co-parenting their children in the coming future as the divorce proceeds.

"As far as custody goes, this literally all just happened, so they're figuring it out in real time," they continued. "They did have a prenup. As a family, they were based in Florida. The kids were with him the last few months, traveling with him with family while he's been on tour. Sophie's been working in the UK."
