Bruce Springsteen announced that he would be postponing all the September shows of his tour with E Street Band to deal with a medical condition.

"Over here on E Street, we're heartbroken to have to postpone these shows," the singer wrote on social media, he also apologized to his fans in Philadelphia for also skipping out on their show.

"First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We'll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support. We've been having a blast at our US shows and we're looking forward to more great times.

"We'll be back soon. Love and God bless all, Bruce."

According to reports, the reason behind the sudden postponement of the concert is due to Springsteen receiving treatment for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease.

Springsteen did not disclose how severe his illness was, however, his doctors suggested that he step away from the stage in order to receive treatment and proper rest.

"Mr. Springsteen is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and the decision of his medical advisors is that he should postpone the remainder of his September shows," a statement read.

A total of eight shows were rescheduled to a later date including the singer's concerts in the following cities: Albany, Pittsburg, Syracuse, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Columbus, and Uncasville.

As per reports, symptoms of peptic ulcer disease include pain or discomfort in the upper part of the abdomen. The person affected with the disease may experience nausea and vomiting as well.

Bruce Springsteen's 'Never-Ending' Tour Run

Springsteen has been touring for the majority of his life. He has not ceased releasing music since 1964.

"Springsteen and E Street Band 2023" tour is his 18th tour and is one of the most monumental tours in his career, as he has reunited with E Street Band.

However, the singer has encountered many obstacles and issues regarding this tour, including complaints from fans.

According to reports, fans accused Springsteen of not having a diverse setlist, and he has been playing fewer songs.

"Who would want to hear the same set list again and again and again," a fan angrily wrote. "He's better than this."

On the other hand, the singer has been dead set in his ways and even told fans, "If there's any complaints on the way out, you can have your money back."
