Demi Lovato has one of the most distinct voices in the music industry, which is probably why "The Masked Singer" fans and judges were so convinced that it was the "Cool for the Summer" singer behind the mask.
According to reports, Lovato was the very first performer featured on the kickoff episode of the season 10 special of the singing competition show.
She performed "What About Love" by Heart, all while wearing a costume and headpiece inspired by a cartoon mouse, which was why she was introduced as "Anonymouse."
"The Masked Singer" judges guessed several different female artists that could pull off such a high-ranged song. According to reports, they contemplated between Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, and even Ariana Grande, before eventually landing on Lovato.

Lovato gave several hints about her identity, which definitely heped the judges guess who she was.
"Just like Michelle Obama, Oprah, and Angelina Jolie, I'm on one special list: Time's 100," the "Heart Attack" singer said.
For her second clue, Lovato noted about her acting career, which took off in the 2010s in the Disney Channel. "This is a literal concrete clue. My acting career has cemented me as one talented mouse."
Finally, for the third clue, they played the package voice: "When I found out that 'The Masked Singer' needed a mystery guest to celebrate their milestone 10th season, I knew I was the right rodent for the job."
Lovato went on to explain how she began working in the television industry at a young age, and had a breakthrough after she was "able to showcase [her] voice," and despite her sunny disposition, she "struggled with demons on the inside."

Demi Lovato Reclaims Her Voice
Lovato went on to explain how much being on "The Masked Singer" means to her and her journey in changing her way of life.
"I was trapped on a path of wrong decisions. And eventually, I hit rock bottom. But that was the wakeup call I needed to finally realize, I had so much more life to live," she said.
"Now, I've made it my mission to seek out joy wherever I can. And that's exactly what I'm doing here. It's about time I stop by. You all have been guessing me for the past nine seasons! But when this mask comes off, you'll see, there's no mouse like me."
After being unmasked, Lovato expressed her excitement and glee to be on the singing competition show.
"I wanted to be on your show," she said. "Because it seemed so fun, and it has been so fun. And I get to sing, so its the best of both worlds."
