Drake disappointed fans by announcing that he will be delaying the release of his upcoming album, "To All The Dogs" after facing a "dilemma."
"Okay, my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show," the rapper shared on social media.
"I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date, we will be spinning back for sure. 'For All The Dogs' October 6th. It's only right."
On the other hand, some fans allege that Drake is simply delaying the release of his album because his music might not perform as well if he went head to head against Doja Cat and her upcoming album, "Scarlet," which is slated for Sept. 22.
"Doja somewhere happy as f**k," a fan wrote.
"Doja got the girls scared," another added.
"He drops an album every year, y'all can wait."
"He's scared of her," a fan wrote.
Drake Gears Up For New Album
Drake has been gearing up to release yet another album while he is on the road with his "It's All a Blur" tour in support of his recently released joint album, "Her Loss."
Apparently, fans have been anticipating the release of the new album, and have also been speculating on when it will be released.
"I know everyone is upset that I didn't drop the album last night, but I didn't say the album was dropping last night. So don't be mad at me. It's not going to be that much longer though, trust me. I'm finishing it up. You know I've got shows every night," Drake wrote on social media back in August.
"But I promise you For All the Dogs is on the way. If you ever loved anything that I have made in the past, then I promise this album will be for you. I promise you it will be worth the wait."

Drake's 'For All The Dogs'
Drake fans have been hoping to see the Canadian native perform some songs off the new album during the tour, but he has been keeping much close to his chest.
"I'm even going to say something tonight in Austin, Texas I haven't said yet," Drake said during his show in Texas.
"I know y'all excited to hear the album. I know it's, like two weeks out. I'm a drop a song for y'all this week. Yeah, yeah. What a time, what a time. I appreciate y'all. Deeply, by the way, I do. It's a lot of love in Texas."
