Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have decided to end their decade-long relationship and seven-year marriage.
The pair have two kids: Iman 'Junie' Shumpert, who is seven, and Rue Rose Shumpert, who is three.
In a bid to shed some light on the confusion surrounding their parting of ways, on Sunday, the social media platform Instagram was where Taylor took to share an in-depth post.
Known for her role in "White Men Can't Jump," Teyana has assured that infidelity had no part to play in her marriage dissolving. She still maintains an amicable relationship with Iman, formerly a player for Sacramento Kings.
Although Taylor stated they were still friendly towards each other, it appears the two had parted ways a while ago.

In 2018, Teyana Taylor and Kanye West came together to create an album that revealed the artist's emotional fragility. Produced by Kanye, K.T.S.E (Keep That Same Energy) contains a song that embodies Teyana's raw emotions about being in love despite living her life in the public eye.
According to Pitchfork, this track is called "Issues/Hold On," it captures all the hardship she experienced surrounding her relationship with another celebrity.
As she alludes to potential difficulties in her relationship with husband Iman, Taylor sings, "Don't give me an excuse to look through your phone."
The song's other lyrics delve even further into the complexities of love - from "This is deeper than you and other women" to "This is daddy issues/Years putting up with the wrong type" in the verses.

Exploring unconventional relationships, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have been subject to public speculation about their marriage's openness.
When she released the song "3Way" on her "K.T.S.E" album in 2018, it became clear that they were interested in threesomes.
The lyrics of Taylor's song reflected some of their sexual experiences together, singing: "Anything; for my baby, I'd do some crazy things, yeah. So whatever he wants, he can get that."
She continued, "because two heads are better than one."
Infidelity rumors and talk of a lovechild have been swirling around Iman for a while now.
Just last week, speculation rose to a fever pitch when some suspect photos and videos began circulating online. The images suggested Iman had been unfaithful to Teyana - allegedly featuring an unknown woman wearing his distinctive necklace.
A picture included another man in the frame, and in one of the videos, it was alleged that Shumpert's voice could be heard.
But it was on Sunday, Teyana Taylor confirmed the couple's separation. However, Iman Shumpert has not made a public statement about their parting. It had also been some time since they had been spotted in the same place or featured on one another's social media feeds.
