Tory Lanez Transferred to State Prison With History of Violent Attacks, Murders [REPORT]

Tory Lanez has been transferred to a state prison after being sentenced to 10 years in jail for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

According to reports, the disgraced rapper has been booked into North Kern State Prison in Delano, California after being held in a Los Angeles jail. Lanez also took a new mugshot which was later revealed online.

On top of that, the state prison Lanez was reportedly sent to is infamous for having a history of violent attacks and even murder among its inmates.

TMZ reported that the prison saw an uptick in recent violence within its walls in 2023 alone.

Tory Lanez Guilty for Shooting Megan Thee Stallion

According to reports, Lanez shot Thee Stallion in 2020 during a house party, when she refused to dance for him.

Prosecutors after for the judge to sentence him to 13 years, but was given 10 instead.

After the guilty verdict, Lanez appealed to the judge and asked for leniency, however, this was denied.

"I'm standing in front of you as a father to a six-year-old who needs me every step of the way," the rapper said during court proceedings. "There's been this misconception about me being this monster, not having remorse, that's just not true."

"[...] The victim was my friend; I still care about her. We both lost mothers; we'd sit there and drink until we felt numb. Everything I did wrong that night I take responsibility for."

Megan Thee Stallion Celebrates Win

While the "WAP" rapper is celebrating now that she is free from her shooter, during court proceedings, she expressed how the incident left her traumatized.

"I wish he would have just shot and killed me if I would have known I would go through this torture," she said last year.

"[...] As I reflect on the past three years, I view myself as a survivor, because I have truly survived the unimaginable.

"Not only did I survive being shot by someone I trusted and considered a close friend, but I overcame the public humiliation of having my name and reputation dragged through the mud by that individual for the entire world to see."

Fans stand by Thee Stallion and offer her their best wishes and support. Following the release of Lanez's new mugshot, netizens clowned his appearance.
